Paramount will be shooting a sequel to the risque college romp “Road Trip” in Atlanta this fall. No word on whether actor Tom Green or any of the other cast members will be reprising their roles. The Warner Brothers feature film “The Preacher’s Kid” is currently in principal photography in the Atlanta area. Preacher’s Kid follows the story of a prodigal daughter who defies her minister father to pursue her dream of a career as a traveling Gospel singer. Locations are said to include the historic Fox Theater and the Atlanta Civic Center.

It appears that Georgia’s tax incentives are beginning to work, as the offices for a Sony TV pilot entitled “Drop Dead Diva” opened in Atlanta earlier this week. The show, slated to air on the Lifetime network, is said to be based on the reincarnation of an aspiring actress into the body of an overweight attorney.
