Swirl Films Buys Atlanta Film Studios
The Marietta Daily Journal is reporting that Swirl Recording and Film Inc. (Swirl Films) has purchased Atlanta Metro Studios for $4 million. For sale since 2015, the studios, located 28 miles from downtown Atlanta, were originally built by Paulding County in 2012. The prolific independent studio has been producing the digital multicast broadcast network television series “Saints & Sinners” at Atlanta Film Studios since last summer.
Atlanta Film Studios Up for Sale
The Dallas New Era reports that the Paulding County Industrial Building Authority are pursuing the sale of Atlanta Film Studios. Located 28 miles from the Georgia State Capitol, the 76,000 square foot studios were built by the county using taxpayer-funded bonds. Atlanta Film Studios features two 20,000 square foot stages that are 35 foot clear to the ceiling grid, Camlock shoot power, full construction power on stages, full service production offices, a 30,000 square foot mill space…
