House Bill 1100 [click here to download PDF] has passed unanimously out of the Finance Committee and will go before the state senate sometime next week. Georgia’s motion picture industry professionals are waiting to see if the senate will pass this new, more aggressive tax incentive measure (meant to revive the state’s moribund feature film and television industry) before the session runs out. Film-GA.com is working to determine how early the state might expect production companies to begin revisiting Georgia, should the bill be approved.
